- Channel Strips:
- 20 channel strips: 16 dual input mono (switchable between main input or DAW return) and 4 stereo channels.
- Channels 1-8 equipped with VHD mic preamps.
- Channels 9-16 are line level but can use the 500 rack for mic inputs if desired.
- Direct outputs on every channel for convenient stem printing.
- Each channel has a Cue Stereo Bus section for headphone mixes during tracking.
- Mix Buses:
- Four main Mix Busses (A, B, C, D).
- Busses B, C, and D can sum into Mix A, providing flexibility in mixing and processing.
- Direct Outputs for DAW printing on all Mix Busses.
- Mix Busses and channels can access the 500 rack for additional processing.
- VHD Preamps:
- Features 8 SSL Variable Harmonic Drive (VHD) microphone preamps on channels 1-8.
- VHD circuit introduces 2nd or 3rd harmonic distortion, providing versatility from clean SSL recordings to rich harmonic-driven tones.
- 500 Format Slots:
- Built-in 18-slot 500 format rack for SSL or third-party 500 format modules.
- Slots 17-18 hardwired to Mix A for the legendary SSL G Series Bus Compressor.
- Mono channels (1-16) can access corresponding slots in the rack via the '500' Insert button.
- Stereo channels (17-20) do not have access to the 500 rack.
- Monitoring:
- Three sets of stereo monitor connections (Main, Mini 1, and Mini 2) plus a sub connection.
- Pristine SuperAnalogueTM monitoring section with individual Level controls.
- Bass management on the sub connection for enhanced monitoring.

- Flexible Cue System:
- Cue Stereo section on each channel for headphone mixes during tracking.
- Mono channels have an ALT button for sourcing signals from a rear panel ALT input, summed into Mix A.
- Listen Mic Compressor:
- Classic SSL Listen Mic Compressor for strong live room listen mic signals or as a process effect.
- No controls, always-on operation, with a dedicated external output for use as a process effect.
- Talkback and Foldback:
- In-built talkback microphone with Talk button and Level control.
- Foldbacks A and B with individual Level controls, Talk buttons, and MON buttons for quick playback to performers.
